Become an IGB Partner to stand up and be counted as a business that has put Kingdom priorities over worldly profit.

Join The Movement

It’s one thing to read about Kingdom business principles and how you can give your business to the Lord; it’s another to reorient your entire operation around them — but that’s what God calls us to do. Recognition as an It’s God’s Business (IGB) Partner isn’t about being in an exclusive club, it’s about making a public declaration to the world that this business belongs to God.

We recognize IGB Partners as those who have formally adopted the IGB Covenants—acknowledging God as Owner and themselves as stewards— who are committed to stand in the gap both as a company and as individuals between the Hope of Heaven and a Hurting World by giving time, talent, and financial resources as God leads.

“As for me and my house [and my business], we will serve the Lord”

— (Joshua 24:15)

Dedicating business to God.

“Earn all you can, save all you can, give all you can.”

— John Wesley

What We Believe

  • We believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth.
  • We believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.
  • We believe He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to Hades. On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
  • We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.
  • We believe that marriage is a holy estate instituted by God, designed by Him to be between one man and one woman, and there are no exceptions to this truth.
  • We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God, completely truthful in all it affirms, without error, and has been faithfully preserved.
  • We believe that, as Jesus’ last command to his church states, Christians are obligated to carry out the Great Commission.  Lost people are supremely treasured by God and Jesus Christ is uniquely and solely the Savior of the world.  Therefore we lovingly, innovatively, and aggressively make Him known to everyone we can, everywhere we can, in every way we can.

It’s God’s Business Covenant Agreement

We agree that __________________________ exists for the purpose of serving and glorifying God. We openly acknowledge that all we have, all we are, and all we are able to do is a gift from Him. Therefore, this business is not ultimately ours, it is God’s. For this reason, we willingly declare, It’s God’s Business.

God has entrusted us as caretakers and stewards of __________________________, and we commit to operate this business in alignment with His authoritative written Word, the Holy Bible. All decisions made in the management and operation of this business will be pursued prayerfully, humbly, and in obedience to God’s will, trusting His wisdom above our own understanding.

We, the owners, managers, and responsible leaders of __________________________, voluntarily and freely choose to place this business under God’s authority and direction. Our desire is that our conduct, values, and decisions will reflect our faith in Jesus Christ so that those around will identify this business as Christian in belief, practice, and witness.

We affirm our confidence in God’s provision, trusting His promise:

“And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)

Our Relationship With God

We acknowledge that a personal, growing relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ, is the foundation of this covenant. We recognize that no lasting fruit (spiritual or otherwise) can be produced unless we remain in Him. This business will not rely on human effort alone, but on daily dependence upon God’s guidance, timing, and purpose.

Therefore, we commit to seeking God in prayer, remaining attentive to His direction, and submitting our plans to Him, trusting in His loving will for us, and knowing that true success comes only from His blessing.

“I am the vine; you are the branches… apart from me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5)

Biblical Stewardship of Finances

We commit to operating this business with financial integrity, wisdom, and discipline.

We will strive to avoid all but the most unavoidable debt and to clear any existing obligations as quickly as is responsible, recognizing that debt can place burdens on both the business and our ability to serve God faithfully.

We commit to honest, accurate accounting and transparent financial practices, including truthful reporting of both income and expenses. We will operate with a defined budget, plan responsibly for the future, and maintain appropriate reserves.

We will honor our commitments to creditors, vendors, suppliers, employees, and customers by paying what is owed, when it is owed, while communicating openly, honestly, and respectfully with them about these commitments.

“The Lord detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favor with Him.” (Proverbs 11:1)

Generating Profit

We acknowledge that profit is necessary for this business to remain viable as well as to be useful as a tool for God’s work. Therefore, commit to diligence, responsibility, and active involvement in the operation of this business.

We recognize that profit is not the final end goal, but a resource entrusted to us by God. Therefore, we commit to honoring Him with our firstfruits and trusting Him as the source of all provision.

“All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.” (Proverbs 14:23)

Anonymous, Spirit-Led Giving

We commit to giving generously, cheerfully, and (whenever possible) anonymously, allowing God alone to receive the glory. We will seek the Holy Spirit’s direction regarding both the amount and focus of our giving, trusting God rather than acting out of fear or compulsion.

But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” (Matthew 6:3-4)

People Matter Most

We affirm that people (not profit) are God’s greatest concern. Employees, customers, suppliers, contractors, and partners will be treated with dignity, fairness, and respect, regardless of position or role with the hope that this both honors God and open the door to effective witness.

We commit to fostering Christ-centered relationships and to valuing integrity, compassion, and justice in every interaction. Where appropriate, we will also encourage the spiritual growth of our Christian employees through discipleship and example.

Sharing the Gospel

We affirm our responsibility to participate in the Great Commission and to seek to share the Gospel with everyone we and our business have connection with. This business will not hide its faith, but will openly acknowledge God’s ownership and Jesus Christ as Lord.

We commit to sharing the Gospel through our words, conduct, and public declaration — including clear acknowledgment of God’s ownership on our business website and the visible display of the IGB Partner Seal. As one aspect of our evangelistic outreach, we commit to sharing the Gospel on our website using resources provided by Turn Vertical.

Accountability

We acknowledge the need for accountability and commit to maintaining relationships with other believers who can provide godly counsel, correction, and encouragement. Major decisions and challenges will not be faced in isolation, but with prayerful input from trusted Christian advisors.

“Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.” (Proverbs 15:22)

Quality, Fairness, and Integrity

We commit to providing quality products / services, priced fairly and delivered with honesty. We will not knowingly deceive, mislead, or compromise integrity for short- or long-term gain, recognizing that our actions reflect directly on our witness of Jesus Christ to our community and the world.

“Honest scales and balances belong to the Lord, all the weights in the bag are of his making.” (Proverbs 16:11)

Sabbath and Balanced Living

We commit to honoring God’s design for rest and balance. We will seek to honor the Sabbath for ourselves as well as for all who work for us, and to order our lives with proper priorities: first God, then personal health, family, business, church, and all other activities.

We acknowledge that success at the cost of faith, health, or family is not success at all.

Statement of Belief

We affirm and operate this business in alignment with the following beliefs:

  • We believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth.
  • We believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.
